Yellowbird East Co-operative Preschool

Silent Auction

Each fall we hold our Silent Auction. This is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year. With the support of the preschool families and community we have an enjoyable evening and raise lots of money for our program.

The 2009 auction is now over and we are thankful for all the support and donations.

Letter for Donations

Dear Sir/Madame:

Yellowbird East Cooperative Preschool (YECP) is a non-profit cooperative preschool for children in who reside but not confined to the Yellowbird, Bearspaw, Skyrattler, Twin Brooks, Blackmud Creek, Blackburne, Southbrook, McEwan, McEwan West and Rutherford communities. The Preschool has been in operation since 1992.

Yellowbird East Cooperative Preschool aims to enhance the overall development of children and contribute to the development of a positive self-concept, encourage love of learning and to develop the skills to play and interact cooperatively in a group setting. The emphasis is on social, emotional, physical and intellectual development. We also believe that cooperation between parents and teacher in reinforcing common goals is an unbeatable combination in nurturing young children. Parents play an active role in the preschool rooms and fulfill over 50 volunteer roles that assist in running the programs offered at YECP.

On November 14th at 7:00 pm, Yellowbird East Cooperative Preschool is holding a Silent Auction. It will be held at the Yellowbird Community League Hall. Approximately 150 people will be attendance at the event.

We hope you will consider making a donation to the Yellowbird East Cooperative Preschool Silent Auction. All donors will be recognized in the Auction Program, the Preschool Newsletter, and are invited to provide promotional material (e.g. business cards, flyers) for display at the Silent Auction.
